With a name like Vendetta we were bound to end up with enemies.
This is Herkimer, aka "Herky" Gottfried. To tell you his real name would be, well, indiscreet.
Herky knew we were making bike frames...high-end works of steel tubing, hand-filed lugs, and silver that would provide a certain amount of ya-yas over the years.
Herky knew that we could produce something special to meet his needs.
“with a name like Vendetta we were bound to end up with enemies”
He knew that we could construct a bicycle reflecting a unique expression of his desires and wishes of glory.
But no.
Herky considered his options and chose to get a mountain/city/hybrid bike with spiraling upright handlebars and a front shock.
Despite the fact that we believe in the free market economy and we do feel Herky's dealings are his personal business, his actions do make him an “Enemy of Vendetta.”
So we present Herky Gottfried—devoted husband, loving father of two girls, esteemed software engineer...and now Enemy of Vendetta #1.
